about Yancha

What is Yancha Teens?

Yancha Teens is a suite of innovative behavioural development programs designed to empower youngsters in the age range of 13 – 21 years and provide them with the skills, tools, and support they need to reach their full potential. We believe that every individual is unique and has the capability to achieve success. Through Yancha Teens Programs we unleash their full potential by developing the positive mindsets and success behaviours that leads them towards their goals.

The Yancha Teens Programs have been designed keeping in line with the NEP & Future Skills mentioned by World Economic Forum. Driven by research and behavioural analysis, these programs are embedded with:

  • Getting structured guidance Experts, Guides and Mentorship: The program incorporates experienced mentors and guides who work closely with youngsters to understand their individual challenges and aspirations. They provide guidance, support, and a safe space for youngsters to express themselves and identify what is really stopping them.
  • Getting structured guidance Future Behavioral Skills Training: The program focuses on equipping students with essential life skills, including overcoming limiting beliefs, adversities and challenges, develop positive attitude, develop sense of responsibility for example, self-confidence, problem-solving, time management, and emotional intelligence, calculated decision making, develop resilience and understanding others and become a better version of themselves with adaptability and flexibility. Since knowledge is available readily and there is information overload, they need to be prepared with these skills to process information and are crucial for personal development and future success.
  • Getting structured guidance Cultural Sensitivity: Yancha Teens recognizes the diversity of youngsters and their backgrounds. The program promotes cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, creating an environment where every individual feels valued, respected and is heard.
  • Getting structured guidance Academic Support & Career Path: The program offers academic support to ensure that students are performing at their best academically. This includes career guidance, workshops, and resources to help students excel in their academics and have clear choices.
  • Getting structured guidance Community Engagement: Yancha Teens encourages students to engage with their communities through peer learning, volunteering and social initiatives, fostering a sense of responsibility and social awareness.
  • Getting structured guidance Peer Learning: The program creates small groups and helps the individual understand self by giving and receiving feedback in a structured environment.

The underlying behaviours and thought processes are brought forth by a combination of structured experiences, self-reflection, feedback from others, interaction with a Yancha Guide and creating an action plan. This is carried out in a small group and individually so that the success behaviours and positive mindsets are discussed and over time they become a part of the youngster’s way of thinking.

The renewed thought process builds on the strengths and charts a clear path for the youngster, one defined by self-confidence, overcoming limiting beliefs, creating own path, overcoming adversity, pushing barriers and achieving success that lasts a lifetime.

Behavioural development can help the TEEN face the real world, social challenges etc. and overcome any roadblocks with confidence, rather than getting overwhelmed by them.
